Quantum Physics

I have always loved research. My research has covered religions of the world and spiritual studies and health as it relates to body, mind, emotions and spirit. We’re not just a physical body. We’re multi-dimensional and every cell that makes up our being is an intelligence in and of itself.

I am an educator. My passion for life and living and loving has brought me to this place in my life where teaching is such a joy and pleasure that I know I’ll never retire. To my last breath I’ll share what I love and live each moment doing what I’ve always done. Research and educate.

One time I met a teacher of quantum physics and we got to talking. She said that I knew more about quantum than anyone she’d ever met and asked me to come and talk to her students about it. At the time I couldn’t have spoken to a group of students. I’d have had to take them on a quantum experience so, in essence, it wouldn’t have been a talk as much as it would have been an experience of quantum.

Once you experience quantum physics you can’t tell people about it. They have to experience it for themselves. Otherwise you have a bunch of people, who, unless they study quantum, would just look at you all squinty-eyed with perplexed looks on their faces.

Listening to a group of people talking about quantum physics around a campfire one evening, I heard one woman say she wasn’t educated enough to study quantum physics. That you had to have years of study in physics before you could ever go into the quantum field to understand it. I’m sorry. I had to roll my eyes at that one. I asked her if she thought that the shaman of ancient times had to go to school to learn how to quantum leap. She looked at me funny. I said that anyone can learn how to move about in the quantum fields. They were there for anyone with a desire to go into them to access. How did she think the old medicine people and shaman people moved in them?

And have you forgotten where “quantum” came from? It wasn’t the professors and the researchers who first discovered it. It was the ancient people who walked this earth and leaped into the void from caves and dwellings made of thatch. These were the ones who traversed the universes and the galaxies and brought back what they saw. Without ever leaving our Earth they traveled and saw all there was to see. Even into the body. Every single body holds all the Universes and all the Galaxies within it. Remember the cells intelligence? One cell. One cell holds all the intelligence of all that exists. And it feels and it moves and it thinks and it is pure intelligence and each one cell connects to all the stars in our Galaxy like the webbing of a spider. Spider-mother weaved the worlds.

I’ve been blessed to see the human aura. Its brilliance can be likened to that of the brilliance of the Gods. Think Mount Olympus. We are that light. That brilliant. Yet we believe, can be convinced, that we are not ENOUGH. Enough what? Our mind is like a child that prattles on and it takes discipline to teach it to become still. Grandmother called it the “mind-child.” We came in – were born – with our own pattern. Everyone came in with a pattern woven into the DNA of their cells. Some take years to leave their pattern – their message – while some come in for a moment, leave their message and then fly free of this body once again. Grandmother said the little ones that are stillborn or who only live moments after they take their first breath are these messengers. They open like a flower, leave their scent, their message, and then they close up and die. Thank them for their message. Let them know someone got it.

The Heart is the Great Transmuter of energy. LOVE is the message of the heart. But that’s another story.

This Earth-Mother gives us everything we need to exist. Everything we need and more to survive. And look at how she has been repaid. Look at how we treat each other. We had a messenger that showed us how to live in cohesion with one another. Yet the message to this day goes unheeded.

It doesn’t take long to traverse the galaxies when one knows how to quantum leap into them. Light years don’t mean a thing. There is always talk about wanting to travel into space to visit other planets but people don’t yet get the concept of getting along on this one. I don’t mean just with each other. I mean respect for all of the life here on this planet. Each insect from the tiniest to the biggest is an intelligence unto itself. Do we treat it as such? Each flower, blade of grass, leaf on a tree is another kind of intelligence. Grandmother said that even the fruit screams when it is picked from it’s source. I have seen the plant people. They came and gathered around me as I sat and chanted a code that brought them to me. Each plant has a vibration that heals in some manner. This is called “plant spirit medicines.” The Comfrey and the Hawthorne berry plants have spoken to me.

Everything is intelligence. I’ve been invited into the rock kingdom in a dream. The rocks have an almost unfathomable order to them. And of course the four-leggeds and the winged ones speak all the time.

This is our world. This is our Earth Mother. She is her own intelligence as are the winds. But that’s another story.

Vision Quest

Out somewhere on 82 acres of land in the middle of nowhere called southern Ohio about 40 of us were on a vision quest. That’s where you participate in a lone camping excursion with or without a tent, no food, just water and not much of that. You opt to do this for 5 full days and 4 nights.

On this particular day I was alone as usual listening to the sounds of Nature all around and enjoying the feel of the earth as I sat naked on her cuz most often it’s too hot to wear clothes and no one’s around to see you anyway.  There’s not much to do because there’s no cell phones to talk to anyone and no books or anything to read, no TV or radio to distract you.

When I first did a VQ we were out for only one day and one night because that’s what the Medicine woman we were apprenticing with (known to us as Grandmother) did to first introduce and acclimate a bunch of city folk to the rigors of not having all of the above.  In what was to eventually become known as “The Hollywood Quest” that day long ago I had chosen my spot very near everyone else because being novices, instead of spreading out on 82 acres, we chose about 2 acres to plant our asses on because we were scared to death of being alone at night.  So after I chose my spot on that first Quest I got settled and watched as people brought their mattresses and even rocking chairs to their sites.  That was the first quest we all ever did and I’m sure Grandmother was laughing herself into tears.

We had come a long way since that first quest.  Now we were seasoned, having done a vision quest every year for the last eight years.  I loved this time out in nature alone.  Grandmother generally began a quest with a sweat lodge or, as she called them, a sacred rock lodge, where you built a dwelling – called a “Lodge” – with tarps and blankets to hold in the heat and cut a round hole in the earth in the middle of the lodge and filled it with hot rocks that are heated in the fire outside the lodge.  It can get pretty hot in there and you’re not aloud to leave once you’re in – not until it’s declared complete.  A sacred rock lodge is where the rocks do a give-away and sacrifice themselves to the fire for purification of the people in the lodge.

Now it was just a matter of going off to an already established site set up earlier to enjoy the peace and the solitude of nature and enter into what Grandmother said all the animals exist within which became known to us as the violet ray.  It’s important to see, to hear and listen to all that comes for messages, as all of the plant and insect and animal kingdoms are spirit connections and the language of nature.

So as I sat on a blanket upon the earth this early evening I was enjoying the peace and solitude when I heard an almost ethereal flute being played as though it were all around me. Stereo surround sound. My first thought: Who had brought a flute with them to their site?  Hard to tell from which direction it was coming although it sounded as though it was direction-less.  I began looking for the speaker set up but couldn’t find it. So I just listened and wondered who could play the flute so well they should be on stage at Carnegie Hall.  As I listened I also began to feel.  The flute was affecting my whole body in ways that were, shall we say, quite sensitive. Where my body connected with the earth mother there was physical sensation that was sensual and erotic, to say the least.  Bad flute! But maybe not.  What the heck – just go with it.  All the while the flute played it’s other-worldly mystical magic, my heartbeat found itself in union with the earth in erotic waves of pure pleasure.

Fast forward:  We always gather round to talk about experiences after the quest so when we were all together and all had shared some of theirs, Grandmother asked if anyone had heard the flute of Pan.  All I could think of was that the god really was a badass. He could seduce just by playing his flute! Well, like, no one could play that flute with any more finesse than the original flute player.  It never occurred to me to think of Pan being so near but he is the god of nature after all. I just thought he lived in Greece. I mean, isn’t that where he’s from?

Silly me.

Ok. So I have a passion. A passion is something that grabs hold of you and never lets go. I’d lie awake at night and think of all things I’d learned the day before. I’d try to see how what I learned fit into the matrix of my life and how I could make life better because of how it fit.  Then another experience would happen and I’d lie awake working it out and how it fit. This went on for many years. Only recently have I stopped having to take things apart and make them fit. Always about health and how it relates to the holistic matrix of mind/body/spirit/emotion.

Since my mother died a painful, wasting, horrible death riddled with cancer over 45 years ago I have been on a quest to discover ways and means to overcome illness and disease.  In that time so many people have come forth with the same passion and we’re all waiting to see how it will come together with western medicine. Some MD’s have given credence to the natural ways. Some, however, try and then revert back to drugs.

We are not deficient in drugs. Because of poor soils that are deficient in minerals, the vegetables we’re eating are no longer mineral-rich. Thus, when we think we’re eating healthy, we’re actually not because the plant kingdom is as deficient in minerals as the soils they’re grown in.  One author, I believe it was Jethro Kloss (Back To Eden) said that if vegetables aren’t sweet – they’re no good – throw them away.  That’s because vegetables devoid of minerals are useless.

Stress eats up minerals.  Minerals are essential to health and good digestion.  Without minerals the body can’t make enzymes.  Without enzymes foods aren’t broken into usable fuel. Without iodine (thyroid) the body doesn’t assimilate minerals and vitamins. Minerals play such an important role in health.  Nothing functions properly in the body without vitamins and minerals.

Each of our cells relies upon us to give them the proper nutrition. That includes our thoughts – the mind has to be right or the body becomes stressed and from stress we become host to anger, depression, resentment, worry, fear, grief, jealousy, sadness.  All of these emotions affect our organs.  Fear affects the kidneys, anger affects the liver, resentment affects the gallbladder, worry affects the stomach, grief affects the lungs, sadness affects the heart.

Prolonged emotion without forgiveness develops into a cancer.  It eats away at the specific organ dominated by whatever emotion is strongly held.  To eliminate cancer it is best to work holistically.  There are breathing therapies for healing the emotions and spiritual practices to strengthen the spirit.

The right side of the body is male.  The left side is female.  If you have left sided health problems they relate directly to your mother or how you feel about women.  Same with the right side only your problems relate to male issues.  The right side of the body is ruled by the liver/gallbladder and the dominant mineral is potassium.  The left side of the body is ruled by the spleen/pancreas and the dominant mineral is sodium. Potassium and sodium are the main electrolytes that affect blood pressure.  If your minerals are low you’ll have a problem balancing your blood pressure.  Minerals play such an important part in health and doctors don’t prescribe trace minerals.  They prescribe drugs.  We’re not deficient in drugs.

I found out a long time ago what happens when the body is deficient in traces of minerals.  It blew my mind.  To this day the one thing I counsel people on is to make sure they’re taking a good trace mineral.

I have a Passion. My passion is to help people be healthy in mind, spirit, emotions and in their physical body.  This is balance.  This is MEDICINE.

I’ve spent forty years learning about the mind/body connection and how the spirit and emotions affect the physical body.  Ten years working with teachers through books, seminars, counseling with experts on the science of mind – along with following the dreams that led me to answers.  Ten more years working in the emotions the same way.  Ten more years – and more – understanding the spiritual aspect and how meditation and mantras move mountains.  Your prayers ARE heard.  Wrote about this in my book “Warrior Spirit Path of Medicine” on Balboa Press.com also on http://www.GoRead.com.

The last twenty years have been wonderful. I’ve learned: how the physical body stores trauma and emotion (and how to release these) and interacts with the mind, emotions and spirit; how meridian pathways get blocked and how to remove the blocks in the physical body; how muscles react to lack of water and minerals and too much sugar; how to detox each organ and the protocols for detoxing and so much more.

I can teach you how to tap into your inner knowing – intuitive knowing – and light your own passion for knowing and understanding that you have the CHOICE to help yourself if you want it.  This is the biggest obstacle to working in natural medicine – helping you to understand that you have a CHOICE to help yourself.  I have spent a lifetime learning about the body holistically and how they work and fit together and that has always been my passion.  I just couldn’t let it go.

All of this has paved the way for my transitioning into speaking and teaching this work.  I’ll even move into coaching anyone who wants to learn.  I’m ready to do this.  Are you ready to learn with me?

Grandmother always told us we had lost our connection to spirit and nature. She was right. By the time I met her I was totally lost. Even my words weren’t coming out right I had so lost the connection to myself. I had no idea who I was and my connection to spirit was broken. I prayed constantly to find balance within myself so when my prayers began to be answered I questioned the source that sent me the help I needed. I couldn’t identify that it was help at all. That’s how lost I was.

She broke down our defenses first. I imagine going through that was a lot like what soldiers go through in basic training. Break down what we think we are and what we think we know, which, for me at the time was inaccurate and corrupt. Who was I? Why was I here? Where was I going? I wasn’t worth it. What exactly was “it?” I really had forgotten who I was.

So I began meditating intensely and reconnecting to my source through silence and stillness. Eventually, distractions were no longer needed. It was important that I just be in the silence of myself. I still go for long periods without any kind of distractions such as tv, radio, phone. I never listen to the NEWS. News of what? Whatever the powers that be decide to bombard us with to keep us distracted. What can we actually do in another’s universe? Unless we choose to step into their universe – absolutely nothing. I try to stay focused and make my life worth living and calm, peaceful and loving. Those around me don’t actually mind living in my universe so something’s working. If something is brought to my door I deal with it in the best way I know how and go right on living.

Nature. I listen to the natural world and enjoy the sights and sounds of the critters who show up. One day, not long ago I actually had a male ring-necked pheasant in my yard. Someone said they were on the verge of extinction. So I looked up what the pheasant represented and it said,

“Although the female pheasant is rather plain looking, the males of this species have eye-popping color to their look and pizzazz to their attitudes. They are flashy creatures who love to flaunt themselves to the ladies – nature made them perfect for this. The body of a pheasant animal totem shows us that nature is endlessly creative and beautiful, as long as we take the time to look. In addition to creativity and male flamboyance, pheasant spiritual guides represent passion, sexuality, and attraction. They have extremely active sexual libidos and know how to utilize their gifts to get what they want.”
Well, alrighty then! What can I say? At the time I wasn’t feeling all that creative, or beautiful. I guess I was going to be more creative, passionate and attractive. Within a short time I noticed I was being more creative and I actually was being noticed by the opposite sex. Not that I was trying. I’m shorter and rounder than I’ve ever been! But that didn’t seem to matter much to those who were noticing.

Nature speaks. That’s the lesson. Do we take the time to notice or do we just say, “Oh LOOK! There’s a pheasant!” And think nothing about the fact that pheasants don’t often come to the city. Or that they may be on the endangered list.

On another note. There was a celebration in southern Ohio that I wanted to attend. I desperately wanted to be there and asked Creator to hold up starting til I got there. The sun was setting and I knew they’d start without me if it got too low. The sun HAD to be up for the celebration. I drove like a maniac to get there. I put it out to all of creation to hold on and that I would be there.

I kept driving and finally made my destination. When I got there all were waiting for me and I was able to take part in the festivities. The master of ceremony looked at me and said, “The sun waited for you to come. It hasn’t moved from where it is in an hour! It literally hung where it’s at in the sky until you got here.” I replied that I had asked it to not go down any further because I really wanted to be here to be a part of this. He replied that it heard me and waited.

All of nature listens to us and hears us speak. It honors our requests. We are that powerful. We just have to remember.

How Plants Speak

While many people I know talk to plants, myself included, I’ve had several occasions in my life where plants have spoken to me.

I love walking and spending time alone in nature. It’s very healing to do so and as a child I would often spend hours among the woods and forest. We lived on four acres that backed up to hundreds of acres when I was a kid and there wasn’t much going on in the country so I’d spend my days in those woods.

One day I remember a strange sensation as I walked those woods – a surreal feeling as though walking into another dimension. The plant that drew me in was a large shrub with spikes on it. Have you ever seen a Hawthorne berry shrub? I’ve actually stepped on one of those spikes and they hurt! The feeling of being drawn into the consciousness of a plant is very strange indeed. It feels as though it attracts your attention and you have no recourse other than to move toward it. The Hawthorne berry shrub drew me like that. Pulled me toward it and actually said, “hello” inside of my head. It was as though it whispered the word. The sound was not outside of me to hear. It was inside and not my voice – a voice neither male nor female. Very difficult to explain.

Another instance of a plant pulling my attention was while standing with friends near a garden with tall plants. Right in the middle of our conversation this tall plant reached out to me and pulled my attention in much the same way as the Hawthorne berry had – just reaching out and grabbing me into its universe. The strange thing about this was I was standing about 5 feet away from this plant and all of a sudden I was completely aware of it. Like invisible tentacles had touched me! I stopped in the middle of our conversation together and asked my friend what kind of plant was in her garden. It turned out to be the comfrey plant. Now I had used comfrey in healing for many years before this happened and had always loved this plant for its specific healing abilities, but I had never known what it looked like because I’d always used the powdered root. It is said that if a plant has an affinity for a particular person it chooses that person to work with. So when she told me it was the comfrey plant I was blown away.

Another instance of plants speaking to me was after I had been given certain codes from Grandmother Parisha. She told us those codes would attract the attention of plants and to use them to see what would happen. So while meditating with the codes in my backyard one day my attention was on the codes when faces popped out of the flower garden next to my lounge on the patio. Funny faces – all. Nothing like human faces at all. In one instant the faces popped out of the plants and in the next breath little plant people all surrounded me on my lounge chair as I chanted the codes. I had heard about them and was greeting the plant people that surrounded me and wondering what would happen next when someone walked out the door and it slammed – dispersing the plant people and effectively blowing the opportunity to see what would happen next!! I was very disappointed.

Everything in Nature speaks to us. The trees, the rocks, the plants, the animals all have their own way of speaking and drawing us into their world. I have had the opportunity to be able to communicate with each of the kingdoms at one time or another. I’ve written about this in my book Warrior Spirit Path of Medicine available on Balboa Press also on GORead.com. Perhaps you’ve had some experience with this? If you have we would love to hear about it! Please share so I don’t feel like I’m the only one. It would be good to know I’m not alone out here. I’ll be introducing Nature Speak to anyone interested in learning how to listen to nature in upcoming classes. Let me know you’re interested. I love teaching this class to children because it helps them become aware of the intelligence of nature and it gives them another reason to get out in nature. As soon as it warms up we’ll be outside!!

I’m not into body art.  I think the body is beautiful just as it is.  Apprenticing with a Cherokee medicine woman for many years one learns a thing or two about life and consequences of actions and thoughts.  For every action there is a re-action stands out in the case of tattoos.

Speaking to people about this gains insight into the teachings brought to my door as an apprentice.  Feedback is valuable and in the case of tattoos you may want to make a few notes.  While you may be attracted to this form of art, realize there are consequences.

We were taught as apprentices that every cell of the body is an intelligence.  I’ve witnessed this intelligence first-hand but that’s another article.  Every cell communicates and has intelligence.  So what happens when you apply permanent ink to your skin, which has the intelligence of millions of cells?

Before you get inked, consider carefully what you want to have reflected out from your body into the Universe.  For what you ink on your skin reflects and draws to you that which you put on it.  Don’t get a tattoo if you’re drunk.  Drinking alcohol and doing drugs opens you up to the lower world entities as it is and that’s dangerous enough without adding a tattoo without giving it some forethought.

Only put on your body what you wish to attract.  Stay away from confusion or confusing art forms.  Things like monsters and skulls may draw monsters and death.  Death is multi-faceted.  There are many ways to die.

One person with higher intelligence had a phoenix tattoo and said her life changed so much for the better after she had it done.  Fairies (the good kind) and butterflies are creatures of protection and change.  Celtic or other ethnic symbols of protection, abundance and love are advantageous.  Anything that reflects happiness, abundance, goodwill, joy and positive experiences are things to consider.

Of course, there are always people who challenge life and want adventure.  Good luck with that!  Tattoos are yourself reflecting back at you and drawing to you that which you put out into the world through the intelligence of your skin – the way you are seen by the world.  And the way the world sees you.  It is more than you think.  Tread this medium lightly. Think about the symbol(s) you put on your skin.

If you could see yourself through the eyes of the spirit you would see a gloriously shining aura around you.  Every cell lighting up into beams of light that radiate out many feet around us.  We are light-beings and it is an awesome sight!  That light represents the cells communicating.  The worlds that the cells communicate with.  The intelligence of ourselves.  We haven’t begun to fathom who we are because we don’t allow ourselves to see the totality of us in all our glory and awareness.

Be aware of your cells and their intelligence and avoid wearing something permanent on your skin unless you want it to bring you joy.  Just sayin’.
